There are numerous errors and mistakes creeping in. For example, 'brand figure', rather than 'brand image', or suggesting 9above) that the uses and gratifications has anything to do with the effects approach (rather than the opposite). These confusions and evidence of lack of care, reveal that you don't have full command over these concepts and that you are taking a rather relaxed approach to the course. This can only result in one thing - poor grades.

Your grade for AS was a little disappointing, given the very high grades achieved by the year group. I would hate to think that you are going in the same direction this year....

In short...I need to become fully engaged in the course, rather than 'ticking boxes' and doing the minimum you can get away with. I see very few blogs that are 'off your own back'...most are what you have been told to do... And they are minimal at that.

I would like you to proof read your whole blog... What doesn't really make sense? Where could you have used technical terms studied in the AS year? A much more thoughtful discussion of the work we did on audiences...

Initial Assessment:
At this point your research and planning is /Basic/

Based on the comments above, which of these areas do you think you could improve on?

research into similar products and a potential target audience.

organisation of actors, locations, costumes or props.

work on shotlists, layouts, drafting, scripting or storyboarding.

Time management.

level of care in the presentation of the research and planning.

skill in the use of digital technology or ICT in the presentation.

communication skills.tjchttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02048747584992316032noreply@blogger.com
